Foreground elements are modeled and textured in Maya, integrated with 2D elements painted in Photoshop and Painter.<br />
Final stage was, to composite all 3D and 2D elements, with shadows and lighting together in After Effects, which is finally becomes animated matte painting.<br />

In Jan 2007 I was filming different places around Toronto, idea was to create, matte painting swequence composited with filmed footage, which is I filmed at Mount Pleasant Bridge I was inspired by Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, USA<br />
